Hereinafter, we would like to inform you which information we might process when you sign up for your attendance at the “finpulse regulatory summit” (hereinafter referred to as the “Conference”), how we deal with this information, with whom we might share it and what kind of rights you have in this context.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing

To successfully sign up for the Conference, you need to provide some personal information as the following.

To sign up for the Conference you need to enter your salutation and your first name as well as your surname, the organization for which you want to attend at the conference, your position within the organization for which you attend the Conference for, your postal address including the country you reside in, your e-mail-address and how you learnt about the Conference. This information is necessary to possibly conclude the contract regarding the attendance at the Conference. Via this information you will be identified when attending at the Conference, the Boerse Stuttgart GmbH might also use the indicated email address to contact you if necessary. During the sign up process for the Conference, date and time of registration as well as the IP address assigned to you while signing up will be stored, too. By doing this, we want to ensure that the services offered are not being abused. Above that, the in accordance to number 1 of this declaration responsible institution is obligated to prove your consent to this privacy policy.

Moreover, you can enter further voluntary personal information during your registration, for example your phone number, any questions and comments regarding the registration process. We use this voluntary personal information to be able to prepare the Conference even more individually for you. 

4. Cookies

We or our partners use cookies or similar technologies, e.g. Local shared objects (in the following collectively named “cookies”). These cookies will be placed and saved on your computer to collect and store information when you visit our websites.

Cookies are not able to run programs or to transmit viruses to your computer. Cookies are small text files which are assigned to the browser employed by you and which are stored on your hard disc. By using these cookies, we get certain information which shall serve to design our internet offer more user-friendly and to enable you to register for the Conference. You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes, refusing to accept cookies. In this case, it might occur that you cannot use all the functions of this website anymore.

5. Collection of General Information

Furthermore, when you visit our website, we by default store the IP address assigned to you by your internet provider, the website by which you chose to access our website, our websites you access, date and duration of your visit, the browser type employed and its version, the operation system employed as well as similar information and data. On the one hand, the storage of this information shall serve to avert danger in case of an attack on the systems of information technology. On the other hand, it shall help to improve the webpage.

The preceding information will not be combined with any other personal information collected about you.

6. Onward Transfer to Third Parties

With respect to the technical provision of the webpage and its content we partially employ third parties as providers. These third parties are processors who act on behalf of the responsible institution mentioned in number 1 of this declaration. They process personal information according to the respective guidelines and exclusively to the respective purpose. In this context, the Stock Exchange Stuttgart remains the institution which is responsible for processing.

Besides, on the webpages of the Conference, there are links to other websites. We do not know which information is being collected on the target pages of these links. Therefore, we cannot assume responsibility for whether these other websites comply with data protection regulations.

7. Duration of Data Retention

Because it is needed for your identification at the Conference and for carrying out the Conference, the personal information will be stored until the Conference has ended.

At the latest when the Conference has come to an end, all personal information about you will be deleted. If you consigned personal information for processing in any other form to us (e.g. for signing up for the “European Retail Investment Conference”), this information will not automatically be deleted, too, for it remains necessary to carry out this further contract. If you want to delete this information, a separate termination of the further contract is needed.

8. Rights of Persons Concerned

Every person concerned has the Right of access by the data subject (Art. 15 GDPR). In the case of inaccurate personal information being processed, you have the Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR). If the legal requirements are fulfilled, you may request the erasure or restriction of processing, you may object the processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR) and you may claim your Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). If you exercise your abovementioned rights, we will examine if the corresponding legal requirements are fulfilled to meet them.

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information with effect to the future at all times with us. However, in this case it might occur that you cannot attend to the Conference.
